Rhinoplasty Surgery: Testimonial for Dr Colin Hong

Rhinoplasty surgery involves many risks and important choices. The first and most important is selecting a surgeon I can trust. Choosing one was not easy for me. I first, researched everywhere I could; on the internet, asked friends and went for more than five consultations. I quickly learned that the surgeon must complete at least five years of surgical training with a minimum of two years in plastic surgery. The surgeon must be trained and experienced in all plastic surgery procedures, including breast, body, face and reconstruction. The surgeon also must be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and surgeons of Canada. Once I check marked all of the above, I was still confused due to a lack of trust in healthcare system.

Three months later I met a girl who did breast augmentation with Dr. Colin Hong. She was bragging about how it looks natural and perfect. After a long detailed conversation she gave Dr. Colin Hong’s phone number to me. I decided to go for another last consultation with Dr. Colin Hong. He, like any other doctor, explained to me the options and answered all my questions. He seems very competent but I still could not make a decision, so I went back on the internet and looked for any information that may lead me to a “bad practice” by Dr. Colin Hong. It seems like I was waiting for the perfect excuse not to do it even though I had a good feeling about him. I searched for “bad surgery goes wrong by Dr. Colin Hong. I came across an article that finally gave me the courage to choose Dr. Colin Hong as my future surgeon. The only “bad” related article was about a patient that was treated by Dr. Colin Hong after a horrifying surgery done by a previous unqualified surgeon. The story moved me knowing how a plastic surgeon that seen so many cases still took on this challenge with great sympathy.

Finally, I felt it’s ok to put my trust in Dr. Hong’s hands on top of his fascinating Educational profile. In this billion dollar industry I thought that for doctors - it’s all about money- and Dr. Colin Hong changed that for me very fast. After my surgery everything was clear to me that there are still good doctors out there. Not only that he and his staff kept in constant touch with me, every concern or question was regarded with respect. I recall the nurse Alla holding my hand when I expressed fear and pain in the recovery stage. She said “don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere”.

The time “after surgery” was the big indicator of how wonderful everyone was. The nurse Georgia was very competent and sensitive to my needs. She understood the embarrassing feeling being with bruises and bandages and directed me to the back door so no one can see me like that. Without waiting time, they gave me a priority while the waiting room is packed with new clients. I soon noticed that they treat their entire patients in this gentle manner.

The last but not least is my great new look- My rhinoplasty surgery was a great success- Dr. Colin Hong told me that people will not notice the difference with my new look and he was absolutely right. No one could ever guess that I did a rhinoplasty surgery without me telling them. This helps my guilt feelings and my mixed emotions that this is a very superficial thing to do. The result was more than I can ask for- He is an artist in my eyes- he sculpted my nose to perfection. It looks so natural that I cannot remember the one I had before, a perfect match for my appearance that is amazing!!!. Everyone complemented me about how good I look and I feel amazing.

I am writing this to express my deep gratitude for the superior care of Dr. Colin Hong and his staff. I especially appreciated the straight-forward way in which Dr. Colin Hong communicated and know I will be certain to continue to recommend him to everyone I know.

For anyone who wishes to confirm my letter, I will be more than happy to share my experience with you. Please do not hesitate to ask for my contact number from Dr. Colin Hong.
