I have been thinking about plastic surgery for probably the last 5 years. Throughout these years I had been doing research on different doctors (through the internet, consultations, speaking with friends, etc), but could not make a decision as to which doctor I would go see or even if I would have plastic surgery. Recently my friend suggested that I go speak with Dr. Hong because she had a good experience with him. My first consultation with Dr. Hong went well; he did not push me into making a decision and gave me all the necessary information.
I decided to book the date for my surgery, and even in my pre-surgery appointment I was still a little bit scared and apprehensive about getting this procedure done. It was Dr Hong and his staff that put me at ease. On the day of the surgery I was not nervous at all and felt like I was in good hands. The surgery lasted about 5 hours. I did not feel discomfort; in fact I was comfortable and well taken care of by the nurse.
After the procedure Dr Hong followed up with me many times to make sure I was healing properly. I did not have any complications and healed fairly quickly. I am very satisfied with the final result and I owe it all to Dr. Hong. The final result is terrific and I look very natural. I have had nothing but compliments from friends and co-workers.
I will highly recommend Dr Hong and his staff in the future.

Facelift Plastic Surgery/ Botox/ Filler/ Sculptra at age 61: Testimonial for Dr Colin Hong
I became a patient of Dr. Hong some three years AGO. He was recommended to me by another plastic surgeon because I wanted someone that was highly competent.
Medical procedures provided:
1. I first underwent a complete facelift by Dr. Hong at the age of 61. The result: above my expectations! Truly, a feeling of magic. When I look at a picture taken of me before the procedure, I tell myself that what I look like now is really how I used to feel inside, but the outside did not correspond to that. I feel so happy; I seem to always have a smile on my face. It is a little like having springs in my shoes. In summary, I highly recommend such a procedure. JUST DO IT!
Note: A great advantage of Dr. Hong’s clinic is that there is a seniors’ home a few streets away and that you are able to rent a room there for whatever time you would like, and at an incredibly reasonable rate. This allowed me to visit Dr. Hong’s clinic for the follow-up appointments and also, to keep my privacy, as I did not want to tell anyone about this: only my husband and Dr. Hong’s medical staff know. FYI, I stayed at the seniors’ home some ten days, then I came home at 5 am to give myself another week before I had to go out and see Dr. Hong.
2. Before the procedure, Dr. Hong had explained to me that upkeep was important. That upkeep also has the advantage of enhancing the results already obtained through the facelift. There are three kinds of upkeep treatments I have been having, as these are complementary, i.e. each does something different. One is Botox, which removes the wrinkles near the eyes for example; the second is fillers, like Juvederme that plumps up the area beneath a wrinkle or that can give you fuller lips. The third one, which is really super is Sculptra (after the third treatment, the skin looks plumper and so youthful). Being a perfectionist, I want to improve in every way I can; I also get great satisfaction of looking attractive.
Note: Dr. Hong can describe the benefits of each treatment in a more accurate way and also the fact that these treatments can improve one’s appearance in a significant way without having a facelift.
It is pertinent to mention that in my working environment, in spite of being 64, I am not being made to feel that I am any older than all of my other colleagues that are much younger: I easily fit in - which is another important benefit of the rejuvenation procedures I have undergone.
Dr. Hong: It was already mentioned that Dr. Hong is an extremely competent plastic surgeon, and that is, of course, crucial. However, more needs to be said about the person. Dr. Hong is a very caring and sensitive person: the night of the facelift, he even dropped in at the seniors’ home where I had returned, in order to check on me. He is very honest, kind and warm - truly, what I call a GOOD man! It is comforting to know that you are in the care of a person whom you can trust completely. I am extremely grateful for all that Dr. Hong has done for me.
